MONTHLY INCIDENT REPORT

JANUARY 2012

Bossie’s Justice was exceptionally busy during the past month. Armed robberies in local neighborhoods and smallholdings saw a dramatic rise. In fact, Carte Blanche will have an insert this Sunday on crime in Nelspruit. Bossie’s Justice will feature during these interviews. On three occasions victims were shot at, two people were wounded, and a person was murdered. We responded to all distress calls with the security companies. Our main aim in each instance is to support existing structures by coordinating and activating the response of different entities, for example the canine unit in White river, Police Helicopter and Flying squad. We also assisted in crime scene protection. Informants were recruited. The latest incident was in Brondal where, due to the rapid response and coordinated effort of J&M, the police flying squad, helicopter and canine unit, as well as Bossie’s Justice and the community, two suspects were arrested.
During the past 11 days, due to various patrols by the SAPS(col. Venter), security companies and Bossie’s Justice, no incidents were reported. Cooperation on all levels is essential in the fight against crime.
• During the floods of the past month we assisted ER 24 and off road rescue in rescuing and assisting various victims off the floods.
Please continue to support our cause! We are making a difference!
