 DECEMBER 2010 INCIDENT REPORT

 

  • Whilst attending a meeting at the 10111 centre in White River, we were alerted to a robbery in the vicinity. Together with J&M, the K9 unit and flying squad we responded, and a suspect was arrested.
  • We helped to recover two stolen vehicles and arrested two suspects in Kanyamazane in cooperation with Netstar, the flying squad and the SAPS tactical response team.

  • The community on the Kaapsehoop road once again assisted us in arresting a suspect who can be linked to armed robbery, illegal possession of a firearm and cable theft. This is the 7th arrest they assisted us in. This community is poverty stricken and crime would almost be an easier option than assisting us. We secured a sponsor for food hampers from GWM Nelspruit whom we would like to thank for their generosity.
  • Various POLSEC meeting attended and crime prevention actions planned.

  • Roadblocks set up in conjunction with the SAPS sector 2 and CPF sector 2 yielded success. More than a thousand information pamphlets were distributed.
