WEEKLY INCIDENT REPORT

WEEK 32 and 33 OF 2010

11/08/2010
14 Illegal Immigrants were arrested in the Klapperkruin, Kloofsig and Heldersig areas


12/08/2010
2 Suspects were arrested for possession of 500 packets of stolen cigarettes and a crate of Vodacom Starter packs in the Alkmaar and Hilltop area


13/08/2010
4 Immigrants were arrested in the Stonehenge area and 8 Immigrants were arrested for operating
Taxis without valid permits in the Schagen,  Sudwala, Stonehenge  area as well as the CBD

18/08/2010
2 Immigrants arrested and a Vehicle recovered in the Maggiesdal, Cromdale area

19/08/2010
12 Arrest were made for possession of stolen goods, of which 8 were Immigrants
Tools, Clothes, Bag of Nuts and Cables were recovered in the Cairn are, Sonheuwel and CBD

20/08/2010
6 Arrests made for drunken driving, driving an un-roadworthy vehicle, soliciting in public and possession of stolen goods in Stonehenge, West Acres, Steiltes, CBD and on the N4.
A Lawnmower, Brush cutter, electrical appliances and cutlery were recovered


Furthermore to the above, various building premises and wetland areas were inspected for possible illegal occupants, and patrols were done in known danger zones.  All immigrants encountered underwent the Morfo Touch test and fingerprints were taken. Two of the immigrants arrested were connected and wanted for theft and burglary in Nelspruit and Kanyamazane respectively.  

The above operations were performed in conjunction with the SAPS and Security Companies.
